Best Lightweight Single Stroller
Travel strollers don't get much lighter or more compact than this one. Its sleek design allows it to fold into a stylish rectangle shape, and the wheels are easier to turn than others.
It also has an under-seat storage space and an adjustable shoulder strap which makes it easier to lug around when not pushing it. The canopy adjustment can be a bit noisy, which could disturb the sleep of a child.
1. Contours Itsy
The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that has a variety of features for its size. The back basket under the seat is spring loaded, so you can lower it to put bags or diapers in and it will pop up to keep the contents. It also has a child's accessory holder and an adjustable seat pad that reclines. This is more than what you see on a typical light stroller.
Additionally, it has an impressive canopy that can be opened and close to provide the sun-protection you require. Additionally, the handlebar is height-adjustable in four positions to ensure a good fit. We weren't as impressed with its ride quality over rough surfaces. We felt that the wheels and suspension did not do a great job of absorbing shocks and bumps.
It's a great stroller for travel since it arrives in a box fully assembled, and requires only a few steps to get it in use. The seat can be moved forward and backwards to adjust the recline. It's pretty flat. It's easy to fold and unfold, thanks to two buttons on the frame. It also fits in the perfect carrying bag when it's not being used. It's actually one of the most compact strollers we've tested and fulfills the requirements of most airlines for gate-checking and cabin storage, on airplanes. Just be sure to make sure to check with your airline prior to when you travel, as rules may differ. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus
This is a great option for those looking for a lightweight travel stroller. It has all the features parents look for in a stroller. This includes all-terrain tires and front suspension to ensure a smooth ride. It's also incredibly light at less than 12 pounds. It also has a handy one-hand and self-standing fold. It even has an adult tray and a child tray each with two cup holders.
cheap single pushchair is not very excellent, and it didn't perform well in our test of maneuverability. It has a flexible frame which makes pushing it over rough surfaces feel like lifting heavy weights. This is fine if you only use the stroller on smooth sidewalks, but for most people, it will likely not be a pleasant experience.
Cloud Plus Cloud Plus has a three-tier extended canopy and a peek-aboo window for additional sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can hold children up 50 pounds and features a five-point safety restraint. This is an excellent feature for older toddlers who have outgrown their infant car seats.
It is compact and folds up in a single step. It can be folded by pressing an appropriate button. It also comes with a brake that can be operated by a foot, which is simple and easy to set and release.
However the handle is lower than many of the other strollers we tested and some parents may be uncomfortable for long periods of time. It does have a handle lock to keep it in place when open however. This is a good feature to have if you are planning to use the stroller over uneven or gravelly terrain.
3. Munchkin Sparrow
The Munchkin Sparrow is the ultimate travel stroller for parents on the move. The stroller is compact and can be folded up and down with ease and fits into the overhead compartments of planes or trunks at amusement parks (no need to fret about parking fees). It comes with a carry bag that zips up for convenient storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter from birth and provides excellent sun protection thanks to its canopy. The only downside is that some parents find the style to be uninspiring and cheap.
The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than other lightweight single strollers. It was specifically designed to be a luxury urban stroller and for travel. It's among the smallest strollers that fold (and comes with a handy carry case), and it has a nice amount of storage, including cups holder. The seat is comfortable for both the child and the adult and reclines to a near-flat position. This is the only stroller on our list that has a car seat adapter to allow it to be used with infants. Some parents with short legs may not like the handlebar, which doesn't adjust.
The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it comes with numerous amazing features that help kids travel more easily. Its spacious seat reclines to a pretty flat position, and it comes with extra padding that will make those naps on the plane last longer. The canopy that extends can provide adequate sun protection, and the parent tray has plenty of storage. It also has a spring-loaded handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. The footrest, however, is prone to damage by baggage handlers.
4. Uppababy Mini V2
Uppababy Minu V2 is a stylish stroller that is stylish and has a high-end design and quality. Its compact size makes it easy to navigate narrow sidewalks and tight spaces, but its robust construction ensures it can handle rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. The spring-action suspension on the rear and front ensures more comfort for your child, and its durable materials ensure that it will withstand everyday wear and tear. It can also be expanded to accommodate other accessories such as baby car seat.
In our tests during our testing, the Minu was a breeze to maneuver and fold even with a child in hand. Its squat fold that opens into three sections was among the easiest we tested. This makes it possible to easily fit into overhead compartments on planes and on public transport. It has a single-action, color-coded brake that is easy to use.
The seat comes with an adjustable recline in multiple positions and a single-handed adjustable leg rest, making it easy to find the perfect position for your child. The UPF 50+ hood slid down quite a ways, which was great for protecting Cora's eyes from the sun (though not as low as other strollers). There's also a medium-sized mesh peek-aboo window which closes magnetically, and is glued to the canopy, rather than using noisy Velcro.
The Minu weighs less than 15 pounds and comes with an integrated handle for simple transport. It also comes with a shoulder strap. It can be stored in the trunk of your vehicle and comes with a storage case and Uppababy TravelSafe which extends the warranty of the manufacturer by two years and covers replacements if items are damaged during air travel.
5. Joovy Aire
Joovy is a well-known brand that produces various strollers. This light model is a good option for parents who are looking for an all-purpose stroller that can carry children around, provides ample storage, is fairly easy to maneuver and doesn't require an engineering degree to fold. This model isn't suited for those who need an additional stroller or car-seat compatible model. It's not compatible with infant car seats, and your infants will need to be able to sit up on their own before you can use the stroller from the first day.
This stroller comes with a number of solid features, and it comes with a hefty price tag. It was awarded a higher score in our review of maneuverability than other strollers with similar specs, and is a great choice for smooth paved surfaces. It also has a lovely canopy and plenty of storage space, including a large tray for parents. The handlebar is smaller than the average, and the front wheel suspension is stiffer but it's still comfortable for adults.
If you have twins or two kids of different ages, you could discover that a stroller with a side-byside feature is the best way to get them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which offers plenty of features and a small footprint that can fit in places that other side-by-side options can't.
It comes with reclining seats and a huge canopy with an opening window that can be seen from afar and lots of storage. It's heavier than the other side-bysides but has a decent weight limit and can handle most kids up to 50 pounds. You can also add an infant bassinet to the front of the stroller for infants.
If you're looking for an even more luxurious version of this stroller the Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller is an excellent alternative. It has the same fantastic features and is able to be fitted with a bassinet so that you can take your baby home in style after leaving the hospital.
